| The Meeting of Wednesday, February 2 was a great PADJ meeting. The seminar was very informative. Tony Barthel of Sounds Like Fun and a former PADJ president enlightened all of us on how to get mid week DJ work. All in attendance had our eyes opened to new ways to grow our biz through mid week work. If you missed the meeting Tony will be putting highlights on the PADJ website soon. Winners for the raffle were Tasty Sounds and Peter Isaacs. Tasty Sounds won a dozen confetti flick sticks and Peter won 2 tickets to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Congrats guys! On March 1st we will be at our new location, The Lamplighter Restaurant to hear another past PADJ president, Matt Graumann give a seminar on sales. Mark your calendars now. The PADJ officially has! a sponsor. The company is called the Fun Gun Company and they sell confetti sticks and air guns for shooting off t-shirts and stuff. If you have any thoughts for other sponsors please let the board know. It was great to see a lot of new faces at yesterday's meeting so please keep telling fellow DJ's about us. The bio page is for PADJ members only so after you fill out your company's info, you will get a book of every company's bio in the PADJ. The benefit of this is to get to know your fellow members and their specialties and to know how to get in touch with them if you need their services. |
